Hey! My name is Darcey Edkins, I’m an investigative journalist, video producer, and content strategist.

Currently at PinkNews, I lead a multi-platform video content strategy - commissioning, producing, and publishing news, features, investigations to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and Youtube. As the first Growth and Publishing Lead at PinkNews, I am tasked with developing video content strategies to increase follower count, drive engagement, and boost revenue performance.

Prior to this, I was PinkNews' TikTok lead - growing the account from 500K to 1M+ followers in 12 months. I oversaw production at key moments of editorial focus, including the UK and US elections, and originated marketable short-form video formats such as the "Facts" series which has generated 100M+ views.

Earlier in my career, I worked as an investigative journalist for VICE and OpenDemocracy, and as an undercover reporter for C4 Dispatches and BBC Panorama.
